Rev. Abraham Marshall was the son of Rev. Daniel Marshall. This family migrated from Windsor Conneticutt. The Rev. Daniel was arrested and imprisioned for preaching doctrine other than the Kings church. Daniel formed after the Rev. War a church in Columbia County, Appling GA just after the Rev. War and the name is Kiokee Baptist Church. The church is the oldest in Georgia and still exists. There has been a lot of research done on this family. I wrestled with the family for several years thinking they were my ancestors. The family settled just a few miles from my Marshalls and in the same time period. They both were in St. Pauls Parrish, Province of GA. the area became Wilkes and Columbia counties. The were later were divided into several new Counties. The above data was given from memory.
