I believe I have information that may help my brick wall to tumble, I think my William Marshall's Father was born in England and immigrated here just before 1850 with his wife Mary and son Charles. William & Mary are 30 years old and Charles 3 years in the 1850 Delaware 1850 census, all born in England. They had two more children after 1850 in Delaware, Mary born abt. 1852 & my 2 great grandfather William in 1855. Does this ring any bells for anyone? William & Mary are found in the 1870 census with their children Mary & William in Mill Creek Hundred Delaware, he is an Episcopal clergyman. Does anyone know where I might find what church he worked for. I posted earlier to the list: William MARSHALL m. Mary Emma WILLIAMSON both were born in Delaware. William Marshall's parentage in unknown at this time. Mary Emma's parents were: William P. WILLIAMSON m. March 06, 1848, Mary Jane (I believe FRENCH is her maiden name) in New Castle Delaware. Both were born, died & married in Delaware. William P. Williamson's father is unknown at this time. His mother's first name was Susan. Son of William & Mary MARSHALL is: Edwin Pitman Williamson MARSHALL m. 1904, Edith M. KELTY in Philadelphia Edith M. Kelty's parentage: Clement B. KELTY m. September 06, 1876, Catharine BULLOCK in Salem, NJ. Pamela Wright Bucks County, PA.
