    3. Dear Patrice, We have a similar problem. Our Joshua Marshall we believe to be from the Cincinnati area. Born about the same time we think as your Joshua. We have not been able to find his parents or where they came from before Ohio. We have not been able to find his birth record. He married Emily McFarland in Canada, but settled in Will Co. Il. They had several children. One I can recall off the top of my head is George who died in the Civil War as did Joshua. Both of disease rather than wounds. Their other children were Louisa, Bailey, John l., William, Daniel, Jane, and Loren. I believe I have the names correct. so we both have a Joshua from Ohio we are trying to find parents for.
