My brick wall is still my 3rd GGrandfather, William Strother Marshall,b.1812 Virginia. He married Sarah J. Dicus.(Documented at Greene Co. Illinois courthouse).After her death, he married Susan Holland from Kentucky. William and Sarah begat Benjamin Frederick Marshall, who married Eliza E. Scoggins (Greene Co. Illinois). Benjamin and Eliza begat George Frederick Marshall, who married Alice Rosetta Wright( Greene Co. Illinois). George and Alice begat Clarence Western Marshall, who married Nettie Wilhelmina Frech (Greene Co. Illinois).
