Marshall you mentioned was a son of Isaac and Mary (Foote) Marshall. His birthdate was recorded in pages of the family bible. Those pages torn out and sent to the Pension office on Isaac Marshall's pension file, after his death to establish lineage. I have his paying taxes in Monroe Co., TN in 1836, but he is lost after that and information on his whereabouts was not shown in the pension records and it is assumed that he was dead by 1849. If you have any information otherwise, please advise. I have information that it was not Thomas D. Marshall that married Jane Hawks in 1824 in Warren Co., NC, but William D. Marshall.
