I have now been able to expand my family tree by doing more research. However, I've found that Janet's parents were Archibald Marshall & Mary McGill born 10.5.1814. It seems Archibald and Mary were married on 15 Nov 1811. This marriage is also in someone elses tree & they have Archibald's parents as James Marshall and Margrate Hamilton so I'm assuming this Archibald is one and the same person as in my tree As I have him with the same parents, and I have him married to Margaret Chalmers on 16 Apr 1809 and all the other children have these parents...I'm confused !!
