In a deed dated 18 Jan 1785 there is a George Marshall of Accommack Co, VA setting free his slaves. It is witnessed by William Marshall. Does anyone know what Marshall family these two belong to? They go back to the Maryland Marshall's that has recently been discussed on this site. I'll check my misc. data to see if I can find their parents for you. Judi
