Among these passengers were William Marshall and wife Elizabeth with children Robert, Jannet, and Mary. Also listed with this family was Jane possibly a sister instead of a child. I believe the son Robert born ca 1754 at some time ( ca 1774) married Christianna Moore and moved to Sumner County, TN before or by 1800. That line is very well documented (my wife's line) and nowhere is there a William or a William A. from Lucy Pickett and Charles. His supposed birthdate of 1792 does fit in a gap of Charles' children, but I just don't think he's there unless he is a hidden black sheep of a very well researched line. Drop me a line. A single daughter Mary C. (b Oct 1850 TN) is there there in the 1880 U S Federal Census and I wonder if she is Joseph's mother or aunt. Joseph's siblings are Elizabeth C. My grandmother Sarah Bernice Marshall married my grandfather Alfred Ernest Loughhead on 12/2/1901 with one of the witnesses at the marriage ceremony being her father John Christopher Brock Marshall. I got a copy of the marriage certificate from the SA registry. Her birthdate is give as 26/5/1881. I have not got her birth certificate as I did not know her mother's name. I plan to ask for a birth certificate using only the father's name to see if Sarah Bernice is actually the Sarah Jane in the reply from Hobbis.
