I need to see if anyone might know of any Marcums in Alabama around 1819 - 1830s? I am missing Anderson Marcum b. 1819 in Alabama and his father was b. in Virginia. Anderson only appears around 1850 in Indiana, but I can trace him back to 1839 to Gallatin Co. Ky when he married Ruth Swango. Other Surnames in this family are Swango, Whiteside, Webster, Fightmaster, Shaffer and Jump. Any information would be appreciated.
