Dear Jean, I'm not sure how far your name goes back but in some of the census's in and around Wayne Co WV they spelled Marcum as Marcrum. I don't know if this would be the origination of your name or maybe it goes back alot further than the mid 1800's. Rhoda Marcum Burks
