One of our cousins passed away May 27 and I wanted to let you all know who she was and her Markham connection. Elizabeth Pruitt Gilliam Crouch b. 12/22/19 d. 5/27/2000 daughter of Fitch Lee Pruitt and Hallie Markham Pruitt Johnson. (Hallie was the daughter of William Nathaniel Markham and Patricia Francis Norcross.) Although she was a cousin we all called her Aunt Elizabeth. She was always present at the reunions held in Arcadia when I was growing up. She tried last summer to organize another Markham reunion but was hospitalized and couldn't do it. Her brothers were Randolph and Mutt Pruitt and Robert Johnson. Her sister was Thelma Mitchell. She was married to Thornton Gilliam and Clarence Crouch, Sr. She had 6 children Mamie Davis Katherine Mars Joyce McCracken Earl Gilliam Everett Crouch Clarence Crouch, Jr.
