This isn't really Markham related, however you will find 1 MARKUM listed in the obit files, so I guess I can tell you about it without feeling like I'm breaking my own rules, plus my grandmother, Minnie Marie (Markham) Jensen. I'd like to invite you to take a look at the website I have developed for my local Historical Society. I'm kind of proud of what we've been doing here and wanted to share it with you. We are hoping to finish up this fall, especially since I'm expecting another granchild (It's a BOY, this time). Once this is complete, I'm hoping to get back to my own research and start participating in the list again. My apologies for being negligent. My niece is getting married next weekend and things have slowed down because of the wedding. I've used some of this time to do a little of my own research and found out that I miss it dearly. I hope when you look at my website, that you'll be able to see why the cemetery and obit project has been so important to me. I'd be in heaven if Botetourt and Bedford Co, VA would do this.
