I am getting all kinds of messages from various Markhams who did not understand my recent message. I stated that John Markham of Wayne Co, KY who was listed on a post recently was not the son of Arthur Markham. This John Markham was my direct ancestor, and lived in Giles Co, VA. We do not know his parents at this time. He is an entirely different man than John Markham of Bedford Co, VA who married Jenny Eads. However, I am a direct descendant of Jenny's sister Ann/Anna Edds/Edds, who married Radford Cannifax in Campbell Co, VA. They were the daughters of Joseph Edds and Sarah Leftwich of Bedford Co, VA.
