    1. "Markham Memorials" Update... ... ...

    3. Mye Goodye Cosynes, For those it might interest... I have already completed the text of this book up to Vol. II, Chapter IV. The family descent charts and family arms charts will be done last. The family arms charts will go 'fairly' quickly, due to a new and improved technique I will be using, but the family descent charts will ultimately decide how long this Word7 book will take to complete. Placing these descent charts into Word7 tables takes forever. The main advantages of this "MM" Word7 book version are: 1. All pages are in text as far as humanly possible. 2. All pages for both volumes can be referenced through the INDEX of either volume. So if you look for a reference for a specific page, the information will be found on that page. So, say page 207 in the original book, will be page 207 in the Word7 version. 3. The text of ALL family descent charts and family arms charts, is typed out. 4. You can freely benefit from the largest set of volumes on the Markham family, in a single file, about 577 pages of original texts, that will probably be within, or in the region of, 10Megs or so. Down side: 1. This reproduction does NOT contain the colour pictures, but only the black & white equivalents. A future update when I get around to purchasing and original book myself. 2. I'm sixpence none the richer. Update: 1. "MM" contains as to date, exactly '989 097' characters of typing. So it should top the 1 Million mark by the time I am finished. A fair bit of typing by someone who is definitely not a typist. Yours Sincerely, Sir Ken Markham, K.C.B., (95). [A Phenomenal Researcher In The Mists Of Time] [Genealogist Extra-Ordinaire]
