I have a lot more information to contribute and will do so in sections. In 1994 I compiled a family history on my Markham family. There are many branches of earlier Markhams connected to this family who lived in Clonmel, Tipperary, parts of Kilkenny, Waterford and Cork, Kinsale and Killarney. When I send my next contribution, I will start at the beginning of all the families I know about; it will have to be in instalments and I will be very grateful to anyone who can help me in any way as there are lots of missing links out there somewhere, probably world wide by now. My great grandfather settled in the New England area of NSW with three of his half brothers. He moved around a lot and finally settled in the mining town of Tingha near Inverell. I was brought up in the country and now live at Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. My personal e-mail is whiteman@ausnetwork.com.au Looking forward to some response.
