One of the points in our Mission Statement is to help support any and all societies and organizations involved in the Scottish Community. I have linked a click and go for your convenience. Radio Scotland International is specifically designed to meet the special needs of "The Children of The Exiles" and bring them together from all of the places around the world to which we were scattered. ( we broadcast internationally to every country in the world). Radio Scotland International http://hometown.aol.com/radioscotland/index.html Radio Scotland will provide the "Scottish/Celtic Community," world wide, with music, entertainment, history, stories, special children's programming, Gaelic lessons and several other services. We plan to broadcast via computer streaming and via short wave radio. Our services will be broadcast live and also archived for listeners to go to for programming on demand. SW: 3985 kHz & 7120 kHz Our musical programs will offer not only the old standards, but also contemporary music, and offer a medium for new talent to develop and be heard from all of the countries the Exiles were scattered to, and not just Scotland. We solicit listener contributions to our story and history broadcasts, and also for poetry, essays, music etc. Our programming will continue to grow and change in response to our listeners needs and we would appreciate if you would advise your clan members, perhaps via your news letter and discussion area, of our existence and greatly appreciate if you would establish a link to our web page. All they have to do is email us and we will advise then when we are on the air and send them the free software. Please be advised also, that we attend a large number of Highland games and festivals and are willing, with your kind permission, to take names of people of your clan at any event you do not have a tent or representation, and forward them to you. We do not have the ability to take money or to provide memberships. We will forward all names to your membership officers. It is our goal to solidify the Scottish and Scottish Exile community world wide. Our education and research services are at everyone's disposal and can be reached from our Home page which serves all of the Celtic Communities. I have also included a click and go for that page. Radio Celtic Home page (radio Ireland/Scotland/Wales) http://web2.airmail.net/samhradh/ If we can be of any service to you or your organization please contact us.
