There is also something called Taste of Scotland Festival at Franklin in the NC mountains at the Scottish Tartan Museum. The emailed newsletter of 1 May 2000 of the Tartan Museum says: "It includes delicious Scottish foods, Scottish music, dancing, bagpipers, border collies, children's Highland Games, and more! (It's) all right here in downtown Franklin from 9 am to 4:30 pm, Saturday June 17th." Are any of you able to attend that? I do not know what I am able to attend. If there is no interest besides myself, there is no reason for me to consider it. I received an email today saying they'd phone me about clan tents. The Gatlinburg Scottish Games will be far better.
