My Dawson family was husband John, wife Rachel - they married in Missouri and came to Jackson County, Oregon about 1850. They had 7 children. The other Dawson family was also John and Rachel, married in Missouri, came to Jackson County, Oregon about 1847 and had 7 children. Four of the seven children in each family share the same names...Levi, Julia Ann, Eveline, and Thomas. So, where there really two Dawson families? Since some of my paper work and notes got lost when I moved, I don't have Joy's address or phone number, but I was hoping she was a member of this list.
