    3. Betsy: If your laptop has built in wireless capabilities, then you do NOT need a wireless card. Some laptop users have units that do not have wireless capabilities built in so they will need a wireless network card. The MCGS CIG meetings are open to the public regardless of which type of computer you use. You'll be able to connect to the Internet via the wireless network available at the Villa Marin facility. We try to make our presentations of interest to all users of computers regardless of their make or operating system, etc. See you on February 21, 2009! I've not been able to attend previous CIG meetings because of sticky commitments, but I plan to attend this one on the 21st! You mention that we need to bring a "networking card." I don't have one -- I think because my MAC already came with wireless capability, which I use at Peet's and the library. But that brings up another thought -- are these CIG meetings for only people with PCs? Or can both PC and MAC users beneficially attend? (I ask because I know that my REUNION software doesn't jibe with the genie software created for PCs.) Betsy Waud
