    1. [MarinGenSoc] MCGS March 24 meeting reminder
    2. Bill Bryant
    3. Many of us have been able to trace our ancestors back to the Mayflower or some other vessel that came from England or somewhere else overseas. Once we get the family tree that far we then focus on the foreign port and on to our ancestors' earliest origins. But what do we really know, if anything, about what that voyage from "there" to "here" was like? That's what tomorrow evening's meeting is all about: What Was It Like Aboard a Sailing Vessel At Sea In 1630. Mary Ames Mitchell will help fill in this gap in your family history, based on her own research and book of the same name which is an historical novel but about a real ship with real people on a real voyage to Salem. Hope to see you at the LDS Church on Wednesday, 7:30 PM. This meeting is also important for nomination of this year's MCGS officers. Be there! Bill Bryant, MCGS Secretary
