3. Thanks, Jeff. I had told Mary I hoped to be at the meeting for her presentation, but I was still at the office at 9:00 that night because of all the tax issues we are dealing with this month. I understand she is doing a revision of her recent book, so I will look for it. By the way, are you going to the NGS convention at the end of April? --- On Fri, 3/26/10, Jeffrey Vaillant <jeffreyvaillant@hotmail.com> wrote: > From: Jeffrey Vaillant <jeffreyvaillant@hotmail.com> > Subject: Re: [MarinGenSoc] MCGS March 24 meeting reminder > To: "MCGS Rootsweb" <maringensoc@rootsweb.com> > Date: Friday, March 26, 2010, 4:37 PM > > Betsy > > > > If I understood Mary, she is revising the book and she took > email addresses at the meeting for those interested when it > is republished. > > > > Jeff > > > > "I think I shall never see a finished genealogy." - > Unknown (or everyone:) > > > > > > > > > > EMAILING FOR THE GREATER GOOD > Join me > > > > > Date: Fri, 26 Mar 2010 13:15:56 -0700 > > From: betsysolis@yahoo.com > > To: maringensoc@rootsweb.com > > Subject: Re: [MarinGenSoc] MCGS March 24 meeting > reminder > > > > do you know if this book is avail. for sale? > > > > Aloha, > > Betsy Solis > > > > > > > > > > ________________________________ > > From: Bill Bryant <w.bryant@comcast.net> > > To: MCGS <maringensoc@rootsweb.com> > > Sent: Tue, March 23, 2010 5:41:27 PM > > Subject: [MarinGenSoc] MCGS March 24 meeting reminder > > > > Many of us have been able to trace our ancestors back > to the Mayflower or some other vessel that came from England > or somewhere else overseas. Once we get the family > tree that far we then focus on the foreign port and on to > our ancestors' earliest origins. But what do we really > know, if anything, about what that voyage from "there" to > "here" was like? That's what tomorrow evening's > meeting is all about: What Was It Like Aboard a > Sailing Vessel At Sea In 1630. Mary Ames Mitchell will > help fill in this gap in your family history, based on her > own research and book of the same name which is an > historical novel but about a real ship with real people on a > real voyage to Salem. > > > > Hope to see you at the LDS Church on Wednesday, 7:30 > PM. This meeting is also important for nomination of > this year's MCGS officers. Be there! > > > > Bill Bryant, MCGS Secretary > > ______________________________________ > > > > A big "THANK YOU" to all of you that give so > generously of your time volunteering for the Society. > > --------------------------------- > > Visit our website: http://www.maringensoc.org > > > > Read the meeting notices: <http://www.maringensoc.org/News/newsletters.htm> > > > > Read the Society's blog run by Gene Pennington: > > http://maringensoc.blogspot.com/ > > > > ------------------------------- > > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > MARINGENSOC-request@rootsweb.com > with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the > subject and the body of the message > > > > > > > > > > ______________________________________ > > > > A big "THANK YOU" to all of you that give so > generously of your time volunteering for the Society. > > --------------------------------- > > Visit our website: http://www.maringensoc.org > > > > Read the meeting notices: <http://www.maringensoc.org/News/newsletters.htm> > > > > Read the Society's blog run by Gene Pennington: > > http://maringensoc.blogspot.com/ > > > > ------------------------------- > > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > MARINGENSOC-request@rootsweb.com > with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the > subject and the body of the message > > > > > ______________________________________ > > A big "THANK YOU" to all of you that give so > generously of your time volunteering for the Society. > --------------------------------- > Visit our website: http://www.maringensoc.org > > Read the meeting notices: <http://www.maringensoc.org/News/newsletters.htm> > > Read the Society's blog run by Gene Pennington: > http://maringensoc.blogspot.com/ > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to MARINGENSOC-request@rootsweb.com > with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the > subject and the body of the message >
