(1) Roots Celler and the Sonoma County GS have beeni doing these seminars for years, thus have built a following. (2) The workshops offer a variety of subjects relevant to the genealogy community. (3) The speakers making the presentations have name recognition. (4) The price is good for the time and materials to be presented. (5) The draw to the workshops is a wide geographic area. Those are my thoughts on the matter!
