Good subject. I have the book. Got it when i signed up for World Vital Records, after which I discovered that it was free at Marin FHC. Didn't use it either. I definitely remember that woman. What argument do the Sac Groups use to bring in people? You have to convice them that computer research isnt everything. ________________________________ From: "JoyLehmann@aol.com" <JoyLehmann@aol.com> To: maringensoc@rootsweb.com Sent: Fri, March 26, 2010 7:10:15 AM Subject: Re: [MarinGenSoc] MCGS Member Contacts That seems to be a problem with all the groups, including the ones here. Sandy and I are going to the Root Cellar seminar tomorrow (the Sac group), the big seminar they put on every year and they get a pretty good turnout. They have a huge raffle that brings in the bucks - remember the wreaths that woman made that MCGS used to raffle? The topic is how to research on Google.
