Two defense officials say Army Secretary John McHugh will discuss problems with burials Thursday, when he releases the results of an investigation at Arlington. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the findings. The famous military cemetery is the resting place of some 300,000, including many of America's war veterans, presidents and dignitaries. The officials say two top managers at the cemetery could face punishment. John C. Metzler Jr., the cemetery superintendent for the past 19 years, recently announced his retirement. http://www.tv3winchester.com/home/headlines/96066659.html ______________________________________ A big "THANK YOU" to all of you that give so generously of your time volunteering for the Society. --------------------------------- Visit our website http://www.maringensoc.org -- we have just re-vamped the entire site and moved to a new server to ensure a better experience for you. ============================= Have you visited the new website and not been able to access the Members Only area?
