Marin Independent Journal Saturday, June 23, 2001 Section B, page 2 DORIS MEAD MACHADO She was a loving mother and a lovely person. Doris was born in Tacoma Washington on January 3, 1919. She entered rest on Thursday, June 21, 2001 at Rafael Convalescent in San Rafael, California. Doris married and divorced Earl Machado. She raised her family in Santa Benicia where she resided for many years. Doris worked as a room maid with Holiday Inn for ten years prior to retirement. Her three children, Steve, Dan and Debbie and her grandchildren Lucas James Ducet, Alyshia and Andrew Machado survive Doris. Her son Don Machado predeceased her. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Doris's life on Tuesday, June 26th, 2001 at 6:00 PM at Mount Tamalpais Mortuary 2500 5th Ave. San Rafael, CA. Friends may call upon Doris's family on Monday, June 25th between the hours of 5 and 8 PM also at Mount Tamalpais Mortuary.
