(he is out of the picture.) Mt Tamalpais was running in the late 1800's and closed in 1925. Then San Rafael took over and then it became the Marin Academy. I say this because I looked at some photos and the Mt. T is old , San R is in the 30's and I think the addresses look right. I could be SO wrong. I noticed in a Goggle hit that a Major Newel Vanderbilt, wasCommandant & later President of Mt. Tamalpais Military Academy until its closure in 1925.
