Dear Listmembers: Last night the Society held a workshop. When I arrived it looked like there was a full house. I only had time to spend at one segment of the workshop and I chose to attend John Trumbull's lecture on "Tombstones: Their Care and Feeding." John had planned to show a video on the subject and share his experience. Well... the video player was not cooperative so we skipped the video. As usual, John gave us an excellent lecture. He had 3 pages of valuable notes to give us on the topic. I was very impressed with the rubbing method and material used. He brought photos, 2 kinds of stone rubbings and other items to show and share. I would like to thank John for his presentation and his great tips! Thank you Susan Trumbull for all the time, effort and energy you put into planning and putting on this workshop! You did a great job! Happy Trails, Lauren
