MCGS Field Trip - 12/14/02 Napa Valley Genealogical Library 1701 Menlo Avenue, Napa 707/252-2252 (if you get lost) This is reputed to be one of the finest family research and American history collections in Northern California, covering the entire U.S. and many foreign countries. The library is open that day from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Meet on Saturday, December 14th at the Lutheran Church parking lot , 1100 Las Gallinas, San Rafael, at 8:30 a.m. (a little earlier than ususal) for general directions to the library. We will break into carpool groups. If you have any questions, call Esther Kooiman at 663-1192. The library offers a means for learning about ancestral heritage and homeland history. The library is located at 1701 Menlo Avenue (at the corner of Menlo and California); the building was purchased and paid for by fund raising, gifts and donations. Available for use are family histories; vital records; atlases and maps; Napa County marriage, census, voter, church, and cemetery records; and the Hartford Times index. For those who cannot make the field trip, the library hours are: Tuesday 10 am - 6 pm Wednesday 10 am - 4 pm Thursday 10 am - 4 pm Saturday 10 am - 2 pm (2nd and 4th Saturday only) (always call to double-check current operating hours)
