MCGS General Meeting Wednesday, September 25, 2002, at 7:30 p.m. Lutheran Church, 1100 Las Gallinas, San Rafael Bette Kot, Librarian at the California Genealogical Society Library "Documentation -- Details Do Count" One of our favorite speakers, Bette Kot, will discuss the importance of keeping good records on sources, and will offer suggestions of ways to amend errors and make additions. Bette is currently librarian at California Genealogical Society in Oakland. She has a Masters in Library Information Sciences from Berkeley. She has been teaching genealogy since 1978, and has published, with others, five reference books for genealogists, mostly on such "lively topics" as cemetery location searching.
