Dear Listers: I received this from another list I belong to. I looked into having this man lecture to MCGS when I was 1stVP and in charge of programs. We could not afford his fee! I encourage all interested in Scottish genealogy to take advantage of this lecture if you can. I understand him to be an excellent speaker. Perhaps those who attend could give feedback to Susan to see if NCGS might have him lecture at our location. Dr. Mcrae was born and raised in Scotland, and educated there in the universities. He will tell us how to access the Scotland archives etc. He is spellbinding with his lecture and anyone who has family in Scotland, should try and come to hear him. Please tell anyone else who has Scotland in their family. I heard him in June in Fairfield, and I think he could have gone on for another hour.
