Hi you all, I will be getting the Kin Tracer together within the next week. It will be the first to go "electronic" and appear on our website. We will print copies for the libraries which are members of MCGS, and also for members not online - like John Bowman. I hope we don't miss anybody. If you know of a member who will need a printed copy, please let me know! Thanks! Cathy Marin Co., CA

Thanks, Jeff. I had told Mary I hoped to be at the meeting for her presentation, but I was still at the office at 9:00 that night because of all the tax issues we are dealing with this month. I understand she is doing a revision of her recent book, so I will look for it. By the way, are you going to the NGS convention at the end of April? --- On Fri, 3/26/10, Jeffrey Vaillant <jeffreyvaillant@hotmail.com> wrote: > From: Jeffrey Vaillant <jeffreyvaillant@hotmail.com> > Subject: Re: [MarinGenSoc] MCGS March 24 meeting reminder > To: "MCGS Rootsweb" <maringensoc@rootsweb.com> > Date: Friday, March 26, 2010, 4:37 PM > > Betsy > > > > If I understood Mary, she is revising the book and she took > email addresses at the meeting for those interested when it > is republished. > > > > Jeff > > > > "I think I shall never see a finished genealogy." - > Unknown (or everyone:) > > > > > > > > > > EMAILING FOR THE GREATER GOOD > Join me > > > > > Date: Fri, 26 Mar 2010 13:15:56 -0700 > > From: betsysolis@yahoo.com > > To: maringensoc@rootsweb.com > > Subject: Re: [MarinGenSoc] MCGS March 24 meeting > reminder > > > > do you know if this book is avail. for sale? > > > > Aloha, > > Betsy Solis > > > > > > > > > > ________________________________ > > From: Bill Bryant <w.bryant@comcast.net> > > To: MCGS <maringensoc@rootsweb.com> > > Sent: Tue, March 23, 2010 5:41:27 PM > > Subject: [MarinGenSoc] MCGS March 24 meeting reminder > > > > Many of us have been able to trace our ancestors back > to the Mayflower or some other vessel that came from England > or somewhere else overseas. That seems to be a problem with all the groups, including the ones here. Sandy and I are going to the Root Cellar seminar tomorrow (the Sac group), the big seminar they put on every year and they get a pretty good turnout. They have a huge raffle that brings in the bucks - remember the wreaths that woman made that MCGS used to raffle? The topic is how to research on Google. JoyLehmann@aol.com
