I sailed with my mother, brother and sister from Australia to England after the war in Europe had ended, having been evacuated to Tasmania from Singapore shortly before the Japanese invaded. It was the first voyage out of Australasian waters since 1938 I think. Lesley Aylwin Sent from my iPad
