I suspect it is OS but it would be odd to have an OS listed between two petty officers unless whatever it is is just listing the names alphabetically.     3. Hi Pam A pdf is fine. These rather flamboyant scripts can be pretty difficult! I'm sure it Is OS - ordinary seaman - the 'S' in "Sailmaker" is similar. Being an OS is consistent with his age too. It is a bit odd how he got himself so high up the list, as it were, but maybe he was just near the front of the queue.... Cheers Piers Sent from my iPad
