    3. Joe I appreciate what it says at: http://www.clydesite.co.uk/clydebuilt/france/GEORGES_LEVERDIER_968.html but FWIW she was still included in the Navy List for July 1945 : https://archive.org/details/navylistjul1945v3grea but, with disposals, at a time when there would obviously be a lot of changes, I wouldn't be surprised if she should have been removed at an earlier date : see comments per Andy Adams circa early 2008: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/MARINERS/2008-01/1200606888 many of these vessels "were released to take up their normal pilotage duties" from Nov 1944. That said, should the entry in the Navy List be correct, it occurs to me that some of the pilot boats may have been retained in the service until after the end of the War ? I imagine that it would have take some time before the R. Seine, where she I see she is supposed to have ended up after the end of the War, could have been declared safe ? 3. Thank you Paul, For your reply to my query regarding the pilot boat Georges Leverdier, I still do not know what her final fate was but in all probability she was broken up in France sometime after 1945. Kindest regards, Joe McMillan, South Australia. -----Original Message----- From: Paul Benyon Sent: Friday, April 03, 2015 8:11 PM To: Joe McMillan ; mariners@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MAR] Georges Leverdier Joe I appreciate what it says at: http://www.clydesite.co.uk/clydebuilt/france/GEORGES_LEVERDIER_968.html but FWIW she was still included in the Navy List for July 1945 : https://archive.org/details/navylistjul1945v3grea but, with disposals, at a time when there would obviously be a lot of changes, I wouldn't be surprised if she should have been removed at an earlier date : see comments per Andy Adams circa early 2008: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/MARINERS/2008-01/1200606888 many of these vessels "were released to take up their normal pilotage duties" from Nov 1944.
