Hello Angela, Further to my last posting, at the subsequent Court Martial held at Portsmouth on board HMS Gladiator on the 26 August 1799, it was reported that a total of eleven seamen had died on the Ambuscade, in addition to the 1st Lieutenant and the Master.  Their names are not given in the reports, but presumably a further three men died of their wounds subsequent to the newspaper report printed in January, bringing the total dead to 13.
