    3. My thanks to those who have replied supplying census and BMD details, I do have all of them for this family, that take me back to the mid 1600’s. I spent a wet Sunday tracking the vessel ‘Regina’ (205 tons owner J. Hills,) using the ‘Shipping Intelligence’ entries in the online newspapers. I know that it was a coal carrier, probably from Sunderland to London. It was in London for the days around the 1871 census, so Anthony COMETTI may well have visited his family and thus been listed with them in the 1871 census. My question remains unanswered, is there more information to be had for those listed in the Apprentice Indentures at Ancestry? If he had broken the agreement and gone to New Zealand in 1872, surely this would be noted on his records. Some of the other index entries had notes for similar events, or of the death of the apprentice. As there was no such entry for Anthony COMETTI, can I safely assume that the subsequent entry for Anthony COMETT age 21, carpenter, on the passenger list for the Lady Jocelyn in 1872 is not him? I welcome your thoughts please. Many thanks Carolyn
