    3. And just a suggestion..... One hears of the occasional list member have difficulty interrogating or interacting with databases...... and since genealogy and its related topics often involve the use of many said databases noticed I'd been advised of a new and free short SQL course which you can take at your own speed by signing up as advised below..... Paul I have no connection with this organisation except having tried out a couple of their other courses, for html and css coding, not so much to learn them, as I think I know enough to get by, but to get a feel for the course and the more advanced features and whether they might be useful in the future. SQL is the world’s most popular way of interacting with data stored in databases. It is widely used today across web frameworks, database applications, mobile phone applications, and more. By learning SQL, you will learn how to store and access data in your own apps and databases. > > > >Who Is It For? > >Learn SQL is for almost everyone -- data manipulation skills are essential to most operations on a computer, whether it’s building an application or accessing data. You’ll find SQL useful if you work in technology, if you’re an analyst, or if you work on compiling statistics and information. > > >What Will You Learn? > >Learn SQL helps you get up and running. You’ll work through four main areas: manipulating databases, querying databases, using aggregate functions, and working with multiple data tables. > > > >Our Learn SQL course was created in partnership with Periscope, the platform for SQL analysts. >http://link.codecademy.com/click/5236921.273140/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cucGVyaXNjb3BlLmlvP3V0bV9tZWRpdW09ZW1haWwmdXRtX2NhbXBhaWduPXNxbF9yZWxlYXNl/54c372f992721981618b4b14Ce2970185 > > > > >Get Started >http://link.codecademy.com/click/5236921.273140/aHR0cDovL3d3dy5jb2RlY2FkZW15LmNvbS9sZWFybi9sZWFybi1zcWw_dXRtX21lZGl1bT1lbWFpbCZ1dG1fY2FtcGFpZ249c3FsX3JlbGVhc2U/54c372f992721981618b4b14Ca9f30cf6 > > > Yours in learning,The Codecademy Team > > > > > > > 49 West 27th St, New York, NY > Unsubscribe <http://link.codecademy.com/oc/54c372f992721981618b4b14348u1.5ur8/c5384801> from these alerts. > <a href="http://link.codecademy.com/click/5236921.273140/aHR0cDovL3d3dy5jb2RlY2FkZW15LmNvbS8iP3V0bV9tZWRpdW09ZW1haWwmdXRtX2NhbXBhaWduPXNxbF9yZWxlYXNl/54c372f992721981618b4b14Ba83fee5e><img src="http://link.codecademy.com/img/54c372f992721981618b4b14348u1.5ur8/b1be259a.gif" alt="" border="0" /></a> > > >
