Hello, On december 13, 1918 the Empress of Japan of the Canadian Pacific Company stranded near Yokohama when in route from Victoria to Hong Kong. The event was related in english written Japanese newspapers (Japan Chronicle and probably Japan Times). The Japan Times recently released its 1897-2010 archives (I suppose the Japan Chronicle archives have also been released). Unfortunately, they appear to be only available in public institutions (mostly US) I am not in contact with. Has anybody access to these archives? I am interested in any informations regarding this stranding and the ship on this particular trip (passengers list, stopping places...). I thank you in advance. Best regards. Alain
