    3. Hello Mick and Mary, Further to Peter Kirsopp's posting, Tulloch appears to have taken command of Alliance during 1827 from a Captain Collin. Alliance was certainly sailing in the Med. in early 1831, when she arrived during March at Falmouth, under Tulloch, loaded with 237 casks of olive oil from Gallipoli. Finally, she was one of a number of vessels driven on shore in Carlisle Bay, Barbadoes, sailing from Newfoundland, during a hurricane on the 11th August 1831. This was reported in the Liverpool Mercury of the 7th October. Alliance's listing ceases in Lloyd's Register after this date, so she was presumably a total loss.
