    3. Hi Barry David Snook has a Data Base of Irish Seamen from 1918 to 1920, see if that turns up anything. http://www.irishmariners.ie/ If he was listed in the census as a Sailor, its unlikely he was a Ships Captain. Mick Mariners List ----- Original Message ----- From: Barry Laughton To: Mariners-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Wednesday, August 24, 2011 1:34 PM Subject: [MAR] merchant shipping ireland liverpool 1880-1910 Hi, Is there any knowledgeable person, who knows the merchant shipping lines between Liverpool/Drogheda. 1890-1920. I am looking for a Thomas Connor employment shown as sailor, living in Madriel St. in 1901 with his family. Wife Mary Ann nee Clarke. His wife was born in Ireland. I cannot find them in the Irish 1911 census. I have not got access to the full census, only the summary tables, so I lose the family after 1901. Any ideas, suggestions welcome.Wife's family legend says he was a captain(heard legends like that before. Regards Barry. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to MARINERS-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
