Good afternoon Listers, The sloop Elizabeth bound from Chester for London with a general cargo foundered in the Bristol Channel in 1757. She is described as being of "North Yarmouth". Initially I thought that this may refer to Great Yarmouth in order to distinguish it from Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, but there is a North Yarmouth in Maine USA.  Would a sloop make an Atlantic crossing I wonder.
