And during the Napoleonic Wars there was the Naval Chronicle which ISTR announced many naval officers hatches, matches and despatches, a number of which can also be found in Google Books, along with other magazines which came and went during the 19th Century such as the Nautical Magazine, some apparently lasting only a couple of years, or at least only a few editions appearing in Google Books.
