My great grandfather, John Bartlett was a salmon fisherman living in Burghead, Morayshire in Northern Scotland. According to records, he drowned in 1894 off of coast at Burghead. He was 48 years old at the time. He does have a gravesite in Burghead with my great-grandmother so I guess that his body must have been recovered. I got this info from LIBINDEX--a Morayshire research engine. My question is where can I find info on fishing boats in Scotland?. I could not find the name of his boat and have no other family information to go on. Thanks for any info.
