Hello Tara, That may be a difficult one. At least 43 Thomas McDonalds were born in England and Wales between 1925 and 1930, eight of whom were born in 1927, and those are just the ones with Thomas as their first name. Do you have the maiden name of his mother, or the place where he was born? Your dad's birth certificate should have the maiden name of your dad's mother, which may help find your grandfather's marriage. Again, 42 Thomas McDonalds were married in England and Wales between January 1945 and December 1948. Any little extra might help to narrow him down.
