    3. Hallo Pam, As german member of the Mariners List, it maybe possible, that I do not understand well, what you are looking for. Far as I could see, it is possible to download as PDF. http://books.google.com/books?id=KDEAAAAAQAAJ&printsec=frontcover&dq=Celesti al+Atlas+Rubie&hl=de&ei=Qj9fTs_SDKjm4QTaw5kr&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&r esnum=1&ved=0CCoQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q=Daniel&f=false Greetings from Germany, Hella -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: mariners-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:mariners-bounces@rootsweb.com] Im Auftrag von PMR Gesendet: Donnerstag, 1. Here's the entry: The British celestial atlas: being a complete guide to the ... - Google Books Result books.google.com.au/books?id=KDEAAAAAQAAJ...G. Rubie - 1830 - Science - 180 pages ... Voyage recently made round the World, in the Ship Coronet, Captain TB Daniel, of Hastings; who very kindly allowed me to extract it from his journals. ... Does anyone have this book or access to it who could copy the full extract re Captain TB DANIEL, please? A subsequent question - would the journals referred to still be available somewhere? As Tom DANIEL didn't marry, I'm endeavouring to put his story together - from his birth in Brighton, Sussex in August 1802, a mere fortnight after his parents' wedding, to his death at sea in March 1836 off Cape Horn - he was swept overboard in a storm. He was only 33 years old, but he packed a lot into those years. 3. Greetings Hella Many thanks for taking the time to reply to my query. Since I posted the query, I located the text of the book online - initially I couldn't find anything more than the beginning of the book and headings! I eventually found the reference I was looking for and after trying to 'copy and paste', save, and a few other strategies, I discovered how to copy the text - great relief! It was too much to try to copy out by hand. To other listers - thank you for reading my request, but I now have the full text of the reference to my great-grandfather's brother. Many thanks Cheers Pam Beaudesert, Queensland, Australia -----Original Message----- From: mariners-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:mariners-bounces@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of menke-voigt Sent: Thursday, 1 September 2011 6:32 PM To: mariners@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MAR] Celestial Atlas by G Rubie Hallo Pam, As german member of the Mariners List, it maybe possible, that I do not understand well, what you are looking for.
