Good evening Mick Thank you for answering my question. I found the information in the registerbook of Det Norske Veritas (NV) 1916. My next registerbook are from 1928 - no trace of RIPA then. Her owners was Pedro Clausen; Bilbao. Managers where Joachim Grieg, Bergen. She was also registered in Bergen. I have written her name wrong - it should be RIPA (not RIPAL). According to my notes, she was employed in the fish trade (dried fish) between Norway and Spain. I also have a photo of the ship, I can e-mail it to you if you like? Hi Terje She was built as Vasco Andaluz by Tod & McGregor . Launched for Compania Vasco Andaluza de Vapores, Cadiz on 08/1861 She was later renamed Vicenta and then Ripa. I will try and put some dates to these events later and yes a picture might be nice.
