Searching for birth date, place and emigration information for: ERSKINE (also known as ASKINS), Christopher (also known as Charles), b. abt. 1700 in Scotland. Apparently went to Northern Ireland abt. 1719 and then to America date unknown.  Married Susannah Robinson in 1729, probably Plymouth County. All children b. in Abington, MA. Christopher died 1775 of war wounds in Lexington, MA. Will sincerely appreciate any information about my 5th great grandfather as I'm going to Scotland and Northern Ireland in Sept. and would like to be prepared with as much information as possible.
