These two ladies apparently came out of nowhere to marry in Plymouth in 1638 and 1639. Ann Walden married John Smalley/Smaley in Plymouth 29 Nov. 1638. Katherine Wheldon married Giles Hopkins in Plymouth 19 Oct. 1639. I have found nothing in MD, NEHGR, or GMB as to the parents of either of them. Perhaps someone who is more skilled in Plymouth genealogy than I am, knows something about their parents. Stew Rowe

Katherine Wheldon who m. Giles Hopkins was the d/o Gabriel Wheldon, mother's name unknown. Gabriel Wheldon lived in Yarmouth and Malden. My sources are: James W.
