One is son of Henry Howland and Mary NEWLAND, born in Duxbury, Plymouth, Massachusetts, married ABOUT 1674 to Mary SAMPSON. No info on their children. The other Samuel Howland is the son of Jabez Howland and Bethea THACHER. He was born 16 May 1686 in Rhode Island and died 15 May 1748 Bristol, Rhode Island.
