One example of a woman who arrived in the colony without a record of her arrival would be Ann Hinde who arrived in 1638. She was a servant who was apparently brought over by Richard Derby from his father's farm in Dorset. Since it is unlikely that he made the trip to England for one servant and there is evidence that he brought William Snow for Edward Doty at the same time. it is very possible that there were others on board as well. There is no record of Derby's first trip in 1636/37, either. Elizabeth in Florida
